ABOUT THE SPEAKERS:
Mr. Sedlock is the Director of Technical Training and Development for Natoli Engineering Company. He is a leading expert in the tablet compression industry with over 20 years of experience and has authored numerous technical articles for Pharmaceutical Technology and American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists. Mr. Sedlock is responsible for global solid dosage customer support, training seminars, contract compression services and continuous research.
Mr. Basim has a PhD degree in Pharmaceutics from Long Island University in New York, USA and a master’s degree in Pharmaceutics from SRM University, Chennai, India. His first venture into the industry started with Natoli Scientific, Telford, Pennsylvania as a Sr. Formulation Scientist where he works on various formulation development projects. He has contributed for posters and peer-reviewed articles in the areas of powder rheology, tablet mechanical behavior, compaction simulation, granulation technology, nano suspension, buccal films, melt extrusion technology, and chemometric methods.
Ms. Weiskircher-Hildebrandt is the Associate Director of Business Development for Formulation for MilliporeSigma. She holds a Master of Science degree in biochemistry, microbiology, and molecular biology from Pennsylvania State University. With a career spanning over 10 years in the pharmaceutical industry from R&D to operations to marketing/sales, Ms. Weiskircher-Hildebrandt joined the global organization of Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany, in 2015 as a technical product manager. In her current position, she and her team are responsible for technical sales for new innovative products in the Americas.
DR. THOMAS KIPPING
Dr. Kipping holds a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Technology and is currently the Head of Drug Carriers for MilliporeSigma. With a broad expertise in the field of amorphous solid dispersions, Dr. Kipping provides a deep understanding of formulation development and process optimization in the expanding field of hot melt extrusion. He has a strong background in the pharmaceutical industry, including industrial development, GMP manufacturing, clinical supply, and research and development. Before joining MilliporeSigma, Dr. Kipping worked as a project manager at Glatt Pharmaceutical Services, where he developed solid pharmaceutical dosage forms from product idea to market launch.
